Iconic Milam & Rusk Flagship
A modernist façade becomes a downtown landmark.
Houston Jewelry debuts a dramatic corner showroom with glass walls, drive-up service, and a neon crown.
Inside The Era
The Milam & Rusk building glowed at night thanks to wraparound neon script and a crown marquee that could be seen from the Pierce Elevated. Inside, escalators carried shoppers to bridal salons, gift registries, and a media studio used to record the Houston Jewelry television program.
Drive-up service bays, pneumatic tubes for paperwork, and a rooftop customer lounge demonstrated how far the family would go to deliver concierge convenience. Today we echo that spirit with curbside pickup, text-to-shop options, and private appointments in our Westheimer flagship.
