Inside The Era
The 1953 flagship occupied nearly an entire block and mirrored the efficiency of national catalog houses while keeping Houston flair. A mezzanine-level fashion runway hosted seasonal showcases and invited radio personalities to broadcast live from the floor.
Onsite credit desks, elevator attendants, and a glass-enclosed watch hospital emphasized how Houston Jewelry could finance, service, and deliver purchases without leaving the building. That mindset still fuels our catalog archives, financing programs, and repair guarantees today.
