Three Independent Testing Methods

Ethical commitment starts with verification. Houston Jewelry uses three scientific methods to authenticate every diamond and verify its genuine nature:

1. Kee Gold Tester

A diamond-specific electronic tester that identifies genuine diamonds from imitations. This thermal conductivity test differentiates diamonds from moissanite and cubic zirconia.

2. XRF Analysis (X-Ray Fluorescence)

Advanced spectroscopy that analyzes the elemental composition of gemstones. This method confirms the material composition and detects coatings or treatments.

3. Nitric Acid Test (Classic Method)

The traditional chemical test that has been used by jewelers for generations. This method conclusively distinguishes genuine diamonds from all imitations.
